G. Creek is a family run construction company, incorporated in 1992, capable of bonding jobs up to $3,000,000. G. Creek divides its work evenly between the private sector (tenant improvement, restaurants, offices, medical and ground up) and the public sector (parks, government buildings, utilities, etc.). G. Creek is a certified Green Builder with the Austin Energy Green Building Program. John and Matt Haralson are the third generation of contractors in the Central Texas area. Their family has been active in the Austin area since 1950, beginning with their grandfather's company, Clyde Smith Construction and Water Construction, which built 231 water treatment plants in communities across the state before he retired. Until 2008 their father owned Keystone Construction Inc., a mid-sized construction company that specializes in wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, parks, and utility work. For over 50 years, spanning 3 generations and 3 companies, our family has completed every job it has been awarded in a timely manner and without lawsuits.
G. Creek believes that an honest relationship with owners and subcontractors is the best and only way to be continually successful in this industry. By doing good work, being honest, and not trying to gouge owners with change orders, G. Creek hopes to satisfy our clients and do repeat business. We believe in treating the subcontractors honestly and equitably so that we may continue to receive good pricing and good service. This allows us to deliver quality, affordable projects to the owner on time and on budget. G. Creek personnel have a wide range of experience. We have experience in residential and historical remodels, tenant finish out, restaurant remodels, churches, government and municipal jobs, and much more. We handle most demolition, concrete, framing and drywall, and hardware installation with our own crews. We will work odd hours, nights, and weekends to meet any owner’s schedule.

President: John Haralson – M.B.A. Finance Southwest Texas University, B.S. Human Resource- Southwest Texas University.
John has extensive experience in historic restoration, commercial, municipal, and higher education construction. He also worked on high-end residential projects for 7 years before entering the commercial construction field. He is known for his attention to detail an finishes,while being able to work with all different types of owners and project managers. Upon receiving his MBA, John teamed up with his brother Matt to start G. Creek Construction. John is President and oversees business operations along with estimating and project management duties.
John and his wife Kathi have 2 daughters named Kaitlee and Riley, and 2 dogs, Boone a chocolate lab and a brittney named Dixie. E-mail John Haralson
Vice President: Matt Haralson – B.S. Construction Management Texas A&M University.
Matt has extensive experience in site work, concrete, utilities, commercial building, parks, and public work projects. Before and during college, Matt worked for his father’s Utility Company, Keystone Construction. After college, he worked in Dallas for several years managing utility and commercial concrete projects.Upon returning to Austin, Matt built a library and several other projects for a local Austin contractor. Matt is Vice-President and oversees Estimating and Field Operations.
Matt and his wife Meredith have twins, Brennan and Christian. Matt played for the Men’s Varsity Basketball team at Texas A&M from ’91-95, lettering 3 years, and continues to play in tournaments and leagues today. Key Personnel
Project Manager/Estimator: Shane Luckie - Shane has been a project manager, estimator, and superintendent in Austin area for 20+ years. Previously he and his father owned a painting company for 5 years before becoming the construction manager for a local bar and restaurant developer and operator. He as since worked for several companies doing a wide range of projects. Shane has hands on experience in all phases of construction, starting with early design input, to budgeting and permitting, all the way through the construction process. Shane's role in his projects involves being responsible for on-site personnel, scheduling, change order pricing, submittals, problem solving, and ordering of equipment and materials, contracts, RFI’s, and above all pushing the job to make sure it comes in on schedule.
Superintendent: Juan Pineda – Juan has over 20 years experience in the construction industry. He is a skilled carpenter, can operate most equipment, finish concrete, and can handle minor masonry work, as well as running a drywall crew. His flexibility is a great asset on complex jobs with many trades and handles most of our tenant finish out or renovation projects.
Superintendent: Miguel Pineda – Miguel runs our sitework and concrete crews. He has experience in all types of concrete work, including high rise buildings, utilities, paving, and tilt wall warehouses. Miguel handles most of our ground up, parks and civil projects.
